Welcome to the Difficulty of Arts!

Today I feel me with conflicting emotions about the Faculty of arts, although I had Seen many good changes since that I starts my studies in 2011, today I have the conviction that our Faculty must to improve to a better quality of education and a real recognizing of all Arts.

 

If I believe in the power of the arts like a transformation motor of the society, I feel that the university don't consider us like it. An example of this is the practically non-existents recourses of our faculty compared to other faculties of the university, like FAU or Beauchef; or the precarious conditions of our infrastructure. this a transversally problem in all departments.

 

Other change I think is around of the idea of the interdisciplinary subjects of our faculty. I think that our interdisciplinary subjects are very bad, especially in his conception, application and evaluation. For me in some form this problem is connected with the last, because the faculty continue with a location logic of the military dictatorship, where the Artists were "dangerous" for the national order; the result of this is the total disconnection between ours seats of the faculty and us, the students. An unique location where all the Arts coexist would be vital for a proper operation of this subjects. 

With it resolved, a good idea to make is create guided Art productions focused in a seriously interdisciplinary work for the students of all carriers, like operas o experimental performances with a real possibility of present to the public.
