My autobiography

My name is Jairo.

I was born in Rancagua on November 29th of 1994. I grew up in a typical Christian family, because my grannies are reverends in a church in the south of Chile. I lived my childhood surrounded in this circle by faith and music. I don't remember my life without musical instruments, because the music have always my near language.

I studied music (in parallel with my normal studies) since 2004 in the culture house of Rancagua. In this institution I started my studies of trumpet and music theory. In 2006, I had my fist experience with the orchestra, where I had loved this lifestyle.

I started my university studies with 15 years old. I studied musical interpretation in trumpet for 9 years and played trumpet in a young (as principal player) and professional (invited) orchestras. In these years I learned of many musicians and artist. Also I started studies for musical conductor in many seminars and courses. In this experiences, I had so many memories and life lessons, I had traveled to many countries for studies as China, Spain, Mexico and Germany.

In the last year I stopped my career for an accident that broke my haw, leaving me without possibilities for playing my instrument. For this reason I changed of mayor to music theory, aim for continued my studies in orchestral conduction.

Well, in this quarantine times I had read many books (Stephen King, Jorge Luis Borges, Isabel Allende and Franz Kafka), I listened my favorites music pieces (I love the 20th century classical music), I watched many movies and theater works, trying to scape of the tedium, waiting for best moments.
