Me and my career...

In my childhood I wanted to being a baker as my dad, because his bread it's so fantastic and the work environment on my father's bakery was enjoyable (for me).

My father with his baker uniform and me.

Well... I was always nearby to the Arts. In the primary school I drew and painted a lot, I played music in the church (in this context I knew the trumpet, my principal instrument for many years) and the military band, for this activities I had thought to being a visual artist, an architect or a musician. But my parents and my teachers thought that I needed a conventionally carrier. Once I started my musical studies on the culture house of Rancagua, the others ideas for studies were discarded (with 12 years old). Later, my principal problem was convinced to my parents, because they had the preconception of the musicians as poor and bohemian persons.

Playing in Mexico with the iberorquesta in 2019.

Thanks to my trumpet teacher and my trumpet advanced comrades, I knew the major of musical interpretation, the only form to become in a professional trumpet player. They recommend me to prepare for the admission exams and I joined to the university of Chile in 2011 with 15 years old. These first years were so hard. As I still not ended my secundary, I studied in the secondary in Rancagua at the morning and after the lunch I traveled to Santiago for began my university classes. In parallel, I joined in a young orchestra in Santiago depends for the "fundación de orquestas juveniles e infantiles" (foji) for pay the university and also to convince to my parents for my desicion. I had beautiful memories from this mayor, I love the experience of playing in the orchestra. In this career I knew the chamber music and I learned so much of my beautiful friends and maestros. Before to my accident I could know many cities of Chile, I could study in other countries. I feel that... I enjoyed that moments.

With my chamber group in 2018.

Since 2014 I had been questioning my role in the music practice, because I found that I could not contribute as I wanted (the participation of the trumpet player in the orchestral music is limited). In 2016, I could joined in my first seminar of orchestral conducted. This area was a solution for me, because the Conduction allow me inmerse myself in the world of the music piece in a new form (a lot more contemplative), for go to the assistance of the orchestral mucicians.

With my teachers in the conduct seminar in La Serena in 2019.

My plan is continue my studies (I hope so in Europe, United States or China) with the purpose of work as conducter in professional orchestras and chamber ensembles.
